Terms, Conditions & Refunds
Terms & ConditionsÂ
Effective Date: September 14, 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ckgconsulting.net (the "Site") and any services purchased or requested through the Site, including the OKR & Goal Setting Workshops and related add-ons (collectively, the "Services"), offered by Cedar Knoll Group, LLC, doing business as CKG Consulting ("Cedar Knoll Group," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing the Site, submitting an inquiry, or purchasing a Service, you ("Client," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or purchase our Services.
1. Services
Cedar Knoll Group provides learning and development consulting services, including our OKR & Goal Setting Workshop: a custom virtual workshop designed to help a company's team build goals and OKRs for the upcoming year. The base workshop may be supplemented with optional add-ons, which may include onsite facilitation, a documented measurement strategy, and a board-ready deck, each priced separately and confirmed at the time of booking.
Current pricing, package details, and add-on options are listed on the Site and are subject to change. The price and scope in effect at the time you complete a booking or payment will govern that engagement.
2. Booking and Ordering
You may request our Services either by submitting an inquiry through the Site for a custom quote and scheduling, or by completing a purchase directly through the Site's online payment process. A booking is confirmed only once (a) payment has been received in accordance with Section 3, or (b) we have provided written confirmation of a scheduled engagement following an inquiry.
You are responsible for providing accurate information when booking, including the names and roles of participants, scheduling availability, and any information reasonably requested to prepare the workshop.
3. Fees and Payment
Fees for the Services are as stated on the Site or in your custom quote at the time of booking. Payment is due in full at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment through the methods made available on the Site.
All fees are quoted in U.S. dollars and are exclusive of any applicable taxes, which are your responsibility unless stated otherwise.
Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
4. Client Responsibilities
To help ensure a successful engagement, you agree to provide timely access to relevant information, personnel, and technology (such as video conferencing access) reasonably needed to deliver the workshop, and to communicate scheduling changes or participant details as far in advance as possible.
Cedar Knoll Group is not responsible for delays, diminished workshop quality, or an inability to deliver the Services that result from your failure to provide necessary information, access, or participation.
5. Intellectual Property
All workshop materials, frameworks, templates, presentations, and deliverables created by Cedar Knoll Group (collectively, "Materials") remain the intellectual property of Cedar Knoll Group unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Upon full payment, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Materials internally within your organization for the purpose for which they were provided. You may not resell, redistribute, publicly republish, or use the Materials to create a competing product or service without our prior written consent.
6. Confidentiality
Each party agrees to keep confidential any non-public business, strategic, or personnel information shared by the other party in connection with the Services, and to use such information solely to perform or receive the Services. This obligation does not apply to information that is or becomes publicly available through no fault of the receiving party, or that is required to be disclosed by law.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While Cedar Knoll Group brings professional expertise to every engagement, we make no guarantee of specific business outcomes, results, or performance improvements resulting from the workshop, as these depend significantly on factors outside our control, including your organization's implementation of the strategies discussed.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cedar Knoll Group's total liability arising out of or relating to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the total amount you paid to Cedar Knoll Group for the Services giving rise to the claim. In no event will Cedar Knoll Group be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost business opportunities, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Cedar Knoll Group harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of the Materials, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law.
10. Force Majeure
Neither party will be liable for any delay or failure to perform resulting from causes outside its reasonable control, including acts of God, internet or technology outages, illness, or other emergencies. If a workshop cannot be delivered due to such an event, the parties will work in good faith to reschedule.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Services or for legal or operational reasons. The updated Terms will be posted on the Site with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Site or Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will not apply retroactively to engagements already booked and confirmed.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Illinois, and both parties consent to personal jurisdiction there. Before initiating formal proceedings, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting one another in good faith.
13. General
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. These Terms, together with any signed proposal or statement of work and the Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Cedar Knoll Group regarding the Services.

Refund Policy
Effective Date: September 14, 2026
This Refund Policy applies to Courses, Workshops and related add-ons (onsite facilitation, documented measurement strategy, board-ready deck) purchased through ckgconsulting.net from Cedar Knoll Group, LLC, doing business as CKG Consulting ("Cedar Knoll Group," "we," "us," or "our"). It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions.
Workshop Cancellation and Refund Schedule
Because each workshop is customized and reserves dedicated preparation time on our calendar, refunds are based on how much notice you give before your scheduled workshop date:
- 14 or more days before your workshop: Full refund of all fees paid.
- 7–13 days before your workshop: 50% refund of fees paid.
- Fewer than 7 days before your workshop, or a no-show: No refund.
"Notice" means the date we receive your written cancellation request (see below), not the date you decide internally to cancel.
Â
Course Cancellation and Refunds
If you need to cancel your enrollment in a class, notify us at least two business days prior to the class start date for a full refund. Cancellations received after that window are not eligible for a refund, but can be rescheduled or credited for a future course.
Rescheduling
If you need to change your course or workshop date, you may reschedule once at no charge, provided you request the change at least 2 business days before your scheduled course or 7 days before your originally scheduled workshop date. Requests to reschedule with less than the above stated days' notice will be accommodated where possible but may be treated as a cancellation subject to the schedule above, at our discretion.
Add-Ons
Add-ons (onsite facilitation, documented measurement strategy, board-ready deck) follow the same cancellation schedule as the base workshop when cancelled together with it. If you cancel only an add-on while keeping the base workshop, and you do so 7 or more days before the scheduled date, we will refund that add-on's fee in full; cancellations with less than 7 days' notice are non-refundable.
If We Need to Cancel
If Cedar Knoll Group needs to cancel or is unable to deliver a scheduled workshop for reasons within our control, you will receive, at your choice, a full refund or a rescheduled session at no additional cost. If a cancellation results from circumstances outside either party's reasonable control (illness, emergencies, technology or internet outages, and similar events), we will work with you in good faith to reschedule; refunds in these situations are handled on a case-by-case basis.
How to Request a Reschedule, Cancellation or Refund
To reschedule, cancel or request a refund, email rose@ckgconsulting.net with your name, company, and the scheduled workshop date. Please include this information so we can confirm your booking and calculate any applicable refund promptly.
Processing Time
Approved refunds are issued to your original method of payment within 10 business days of approval. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take a few additional business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
Satisfaction Concerns
If you have concerns about the quality or delivery of a completed workshop, please contact us within 7 days of the session at rose@ckgconsulting.net. We will work with you in good faith to address the issue, which may include a follow-up session or a partial credit toward future services, evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version in effect at the time you complete your booking will apply to that engagement. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
